Conducted by

Omkar Gotkhindikar – M.Sc. (Yoga)
About the Course:
The respiratory system which includes nose, sinuses, mouth, throat, windpipe, lungs supply oxygen to every cell in the body. Recent pandemic of COVID 19 has showcased that lack of oxygen and irregularities in respiratory patterns can lead to fatalities or greater time to recover from the virus.
We are living in a time where global warming, erratic climatic changes, poor air quality, excessive exposure to smoke, infections coupled with stressful life situations can lead to many health conditions like running or blocked nose, breathlessness, nasal allergies, bronchial asthma, respiratory tract infections etc.
Constant exposure to these causes makes the respiratory system hypersensitive leading to narrowing and tightening of respiratory airways causing broncho spasm and inflammation.
For our respiratory system to perform at their best, these airways need to be open and free from inflammation and excess mucus.
The good news here is, all these are reversible airway conditions and
can be improved by self-management.
